Job Summary
We are looking for an AI-Driven SQA Engineer to design, build, and maintain intelligent testing frameworks that leverage AI/ML techniques to improve test coverage, speed, and defect detection. The ideal candidate combines strong traditional QA fundamentals with hands-on experience applying AI tools to automate and optimize the software testing lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-assisted test automation frameworks (UI, API, regression, performance)
- Use AI/ML tools to generate, prioritize, and maintain test cases based on code changes and historical defect data
- Integrate AI-powered visual testing, anomaly detection, or self-healing test scripts into CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze test results using AI-driven analytics to identify patterns, flaky tests, and high-risk areas
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define quality gates and acceptance criteria
- Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging AI testing tools (e.g., Applitools, Testim, Mabl, or custom LLM-based test generation)
- Write and maintain manual test cases for exploratory and edge-case scenarios not yet covered by automation
- Report bugs clearly with reproducible steps, logs, and severity/priority classification
- Mentor QA team members on AI-assisted testing practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in software QA/testing, with at least 1 year applying AI/ML in testing workflows
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
- Familiarity with AI-based testing tools (self-healing automation, visual regression AI, or LLM-based test generation)
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Solid understanding of SQL and scripting (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with prompt engineering or using LLMs (e.g., Claude, GPT) to generate/optimize test cases
- Knowledge of performance and security testing
- ISTQB certification or equivalent
