About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Odoo Developer to join our team and take a leading role in the design, development, and maintenance of our Odoo-based business solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Odoo’s framework, extensive experience in customizing modules, and the ability to mentor junior developers while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development & Customization:
- Design and implement advanced custom modules to meet business needs.
- Modify and extend core Odoo functionalities while ensuring high-quality, scalable code.
- System Integration:
- Integrate Odoo with third-party tools, APIs, and other enterprise systems.
- Optimize and troubleshoot integration issues to ensure seamless operations.
- Performance Optimization:
- Analyze and optimize Odoo applications for speed and scalability.
- Conduct performance testing and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Team Collaboration & Mentorship:
- Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and other developers to deliver solutions.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers on best practices and Odoo development standards.
- Testing & Deployment:
- Conduct unit testing and oversee system deployment processes.
- Address bugs and system errors efficiently to maintain uptime and reliability.
- Documentation & Support:
- Create technical documentation for code and customizations.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development.
- Proven experience in Odoo framework (Odoo 16 and above preferred).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, OwlJS, XML, and QWeb.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and ORM frameworks.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments and version control systems (Git).
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap is a plus.
- Strong understanding of API integration (REST, SOAP).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to lead and mentor team members.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Odoo certification is highly desirable.
- Experience with Docker or other containerization tools.
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
