NodeJs Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Node.js Developer to join our development team. As part of this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of server-side applications and APIs using Node.js. This position is ideal for someone passionate about building efficient, scalable, and reliable backend systems in a collaborative environment.

Major Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Integrate with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and third-party APIs.
• Optimize server-side applications for performance and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes.
• Ensure the security and reliability of applications.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and technical strategy of the projects.
• Stay up-to-date with Node.js and other relevant technologies to ensure modern and efficient solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years in software development, with 2+ years in Node.js

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and hands-on experience with Node.js.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or Koa.
• Experience with building RESTful APIs and working with WebSocket or GraphQL is a plus.
• Proficiency with relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Experience with asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures.
• Understanding of API security practices, including authentication (e.g., OAuth2, JWT).
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Chai.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
